Das Ferdinand-Braun-Institut plant die Beschaffung einer Anlage zum Dünnschleifen von Halbleiter-Wafern mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 200 mm. Die Ausrüstung ist für den Einsatz in einer Reinraumumgebung der ISO-Klasse 5 vorgesehen und soll präzise Dickenkontrollen sowie In-situ-Messungen ermöglichen. Das Vergabeverfahren ist für das Jahr 2026 angesetzt.

The Ferdinand-Braun-Institut (FBH) plans to procure wafer thinning equipment for backend processing within the framework of its ongoing infrastructure development activities. The system will be used for the thinning of semiconductor wafers up to 200 mm diameter, including materials such as GaAs, SiC, InP, GaN and silicon. Wafer thinning is a key process step prior to wafer singulation. The equipment is intended to enable precise thickness control and process monitoring, including in-situ measurement capabilities. It will be installed in a cleanroom environment and must be compatible with ISO class 5 requirements. The procurement procedure is planned for 2026.
Das Ferdinand-Braun-Institut in Berlin möchte eine spezielle Maschine zum Dünnschleifen von Halbleiter-Wafern anschaffen. Diese Wafer, die aus Materialien wie Silizium oder Galliumarsenid bestehen, werden in der Mikroelektronik verwendet und müssen für die weitere Verarbeitung auf eine sehr präzise Dicke geschliffen werden. Die Anlage muss für den Betrieb in einem Reinraum der ISO-Klasse 5 geeignet sein, was besonders hohe Anforderungen an die Sauberkeit und Partikelkontrolle stellt. Die Ausschreibung ist für das Jahr 2026 geplant und dient dem Ausbau der Forschungsinfrastruktur des Instituts.
