Die vier deutschen Übertragungsnetzbetreiber führen eine Marktkonsultation durch, um den Übergang von Single-Vendor- zu Multi-Vendor-Systemen bei 525-kV-HVDC-Multiterminal-Technologien zu evaluieren. Ziel ist eine Gap-Analyse zur Identifikation technischer und regulatorischer Hindernisse. Interessierte Unternehmen sind aufgerufen, bis zum 31. August 2026 Feedback via Fragebogen einzureichen.

In 2024, the four German TSOs (4GTSO) - 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, Amprion GmbH, TenneT TSO GmbH and TransnetBW GmbH - jointly concluded contracts, following an EU-wide procurement process, for the research and development of 525 kV Bipole HVDC single-vendor Multiterminal systems. This technology allows the flexible interconnection of multiple HVDC lines, so-called DC-Hub projects. Following this approach, the 4GTSOs are now aiming to take the next step in advancing the technology by transitioning from a single-vendor to a multi-vendor setup. As an initial step, the 4GTSOs intend to conduct a gap analysis as part of this market consultation to identify key blocking points related to this transition and to gather the market’s perspective. To this end, the 4GTSOs have developed a structured questionnaire. Die vier großen deutschen Übertragungsnetzbetreiber (50Hertz, Amprion, TenneT und TransnetBW) suchen den Austausch mit der Industrie, um die nächste Stufe der Hochspannungs-Gleichstrom-Übertragung (HGÜ) zu planen. Nachdem bereits Verträge für Systeme eines einzelnen Herstellers geschlossen wurden, soll nun der Schritt zu einer herstellerunabhängigen Lösung (Multi-Vendor) vorbereitet werden. Unternehmen aus dem Energiesektor und der Anlagentechnik sind eingeladen, ihre Expertise in einer Marktkonsultation einzubringen, um technische Hürden zu identifizieren. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine vorbereitende Befragung ohne unmittelbare Auftragsvergabe, die als Basis für zukünftige Ausschreibungen dient.
