Die FAIR GmbH in Darmstadt schreibt die Lieferung von 19-Zoll-Racks für elektronische Systeme aus. Diese Gehäuse werden entlang der Strahlführung der Super-FRS-Anlage für Mess- und Steuerungstechnik benötigt. Der Auftrag umfasst insgesamt 53 Racks, die in zwei Chargen innerhalb von 270 Tagen geliefert werden müssen.

19"-Racks, die als standardisiertes Gehäuse für diverse 19"-Rack montierbare elektronische Systeme wie VME-, µTCA-, NIM- und Hochspannungs-Crates und - Module dienen.
Die Forschungseinrichtung FAIR in Darmstadt benötigt spezielle 19-Zoll-Racks, um elektronische Mess- und Steuerungssysteme sicher unterzubringen. Diese Gehäuse werden entlang der Strahlführung der Super-FRS-Anlage installiert, einem Teil des neuen Teilchenbeschleunigers. Der Auftrag umfasst insgesamt 53 Racks, die in zwei fest definierten Zeitfenstern geliefert werden müssen: Die erste Charge von 24 Racks soll innerhalb von 8 Wochen bereitstehen, die restlichen 29 Racks innerhalb von 12 Wochen. Die Vergabe erfolgt nicht nur über den Preis, sondern bewertet auch die Qualität der Dokumentation und die Einhaltung technischer Standards.
Aufteilung in Lose
1 LotThe required 19"-racks will be used for the installation of different computer and measurement technologies such as data acquisition systems, motor drives, measurement and diagnostic devices, PLC, and computer systems along the beamline of the Super-FRS (Superconducting Fragment Separator) which is part of the particle accelerator facility FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) being under construction in Darmstadt, Germany. Since the 19"-racks will be located next or in nearby niches to the beamline, an easy accessibility and a modifiability are required due to a higher radiation level environment. Each 19"-rack will serve as a standardized enclosure for various 19"-rack mountable electronic systems such as VME-, µTCA-, NIM-, and high voltage-crates and -modules. Due to the requirements to space and applications five types of basic racks are defined of different measures which need to be equipped with general and optional features to comply with the requirements at the different locations at the Super-FRS at FAIR.

Batch 1: no later than 8 weeks after the start of the contract: 24 Type 1 racks Batch 2: no later than 12 weeks after the start of the contract: the remaining 24 Type 1 racks + 5 Type 1a racks Batch 3: no later than 20 weeks after the start of the contract: all remaining racks (24 Type 1a racks + 3 Type 1b racks + 8 Type 3 racks) Batch 4: no later than 32 weeks after the start of the contract: Option to call off the optional racks with a subsequent delivery time of 8 weeks from the date of call-off Scoring: Fulfilment of all specified weeks: 10 points 1 point deducted for each week"s delay o Description of the tenderer"s approach to any delays in delivery or service provision caused by subcontractors.
