Leistungsbeschreibung
The Danish Hydrogen Backbone (“DHB”) project is a comprehensive effort to establish hydrogen infrastructure in Denmark, connecting planned large-scale renewable hydrogen production in Denmark with the German and European hydrogen markets. The full back-bone is planned to extend from underground storage in northern Denmark to the German border. The first phase focuses on the southern part of the system, with operation planned by the end of 2030. The purpose of the SQS is to establish a pool of qualified Suppliers that may be invited to participate in procurements for SAWL linepipe, external coating and pipeline induction bends required for the Danish Hydrogen Backbone. The first expected call-off is anticipated to concern the Danish Hydrogen Backbone Phase 1. The pres-ently anticipated scope includes 30-inch and 36-inch longitudinal submerged arc welded carbon steel linepipe for high-pressure hydrogen transmission service, with a design pressure up to approximately 98.9 barg. The anticipated linepipe material is API 5L Grade X60 PSL 2 or equivalent. The supply is expected to include manufacture, material traceability, inspection, testing, certification, external 3LPE coating where required, preservation, marking, packing and delivery. The anticipated scope also includes factory-manufactured 30-inch and 36-inch pipeline induction bends compatible with the associated linepipe system. The bends are presently anticipated to comply with ASME B16.49, with radii generally between approximately 5D and 10D and angles between ap-proximately 6 degrees and 90 degrees. The bend supply is expected to include mother or source pipe arrangements, tangent lengths, manufacture, heat treatment where required, inspection, testing, certification, preservation, marking, packing and delivery. Applicants may rely on the technical and professional capacity of another entity, including a specialist induction bend manufacturer, subject to the requirements stated in the SQS documents. The final quantities, dimensions, wall thicknesses, bend radii, bend angles, coating requirements, testing re-quirements, delivery locations and delivery schedule will be specified in the individual tender docu-ments.
