Door leaf made of 1.0 mm thick steel sheets reinforced inside along the top edge with 50 mm x 10 mm flat steel as well as along the vertical edges and bottom edge with 50 mm x 5 mm flat steel and insulated with two layers of 25 mm thick calcium silicate board type Silca SB 200 (nominal density 210 kg/m³, manufactured by Calsitherm GmbH, Germany) glued together as well as to the steel sheets with an adhesive of approved type at each layer.

The steel sheets of the door leaf are folded together forming an overlap of approx. 21 mm towards the unexposed side along the top edge and approx. 22 mm along the vertical edges. The steel sheets are spot welded together along the vertical edges approx. c/c 600 mm and along the top edge c/c 350 mm. Along the bottom edge the two steel sheets are tack welded together c/c 400 mm. Exterior dimensions of door leaf, excluding 21 mm overlap along the top and 22 mm overlap along the vertical edges are 1294 mm x 2244 mm (width x height).

The door leaf is connected to the door frame (made by 3 mm thick steel Z-profiles of specification 50 mm x 54 mm x 30 mm) by three steel hinges. A Ø14 mm safety bolt with protection cap from the back side is installed at the hinged edge of the door leaf. The door leaf is provided with a latch/bolt lock. The lock casing is insulated on each side with 6 mm + 8 mm Promatect H board (nominal density 870 kg/m³, manufactured by Promat GmbH, Germany).
